Peggy S. Shook

Peggy S. Shook, 69, of Taylorsville, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Iredell Memorial Hospital.

Peggy was born July 31, 1954, in Catawba County, the daughter of the late Ross Jensis Shook and Willie Mae Shook.

She worked in the furniture industry most of her working career and was a member of Shining Light Baptist Church in Taylorsville. She enjoyed feeding and watching her birds. She loved her family and enjoyed sewing.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hardin Shook, Sr.; her sisters, Shirley Schronce and Patsy Jolly; and her brother, Gleen Shook.

Those left to cherish and honor her memories include her daughter, Amy Wood of Taylorsville; her son, Charles Harden Shook, Jr. (Tracy) of Taylorsville; her grandchildren, Tyler Shook (Beky), Casey Shook (Ceshia), all of Taylorsville, and Mariah Brown (Trevor) of Raeford; her great-grandchildren, Colson Shook, Tyler Shook Jr., and Audrey Shook; and her sister, Alice Hinceman of Supply.
