“We’re very sorry but the Friday show headliner Struggle Jennings and Lee Newton is canceled and will be rescheduled soon and all tickets bought in advance will be honored… SAFETY FIRST….
We will hit Saturday September 28 running, all times will remain the same.

We will use Friday for vendors to set up 12:00 noon until 6:00pm for the Saturday blowout.
BBQ competition will still go on
Fire and cook may start at 6:00am Saturday morning
Chicken turn in is at 6:00pm
Pork ribs turn is at 7:00pm
BBQ (Boston Butt) 8:30 pm
Judging will be at 8:45- 9:00pm

The 2024 Barbeque, Music, and Mooneshine Festival is slated for this Saturday, Sept. 28, at H&H Arena (533 Ned Herman Road, Taylorsville). Friday events have been canceled. Gates open at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
Legendary country rock group Confederate Railroad will headline the music portion of the event. Other artists include North American Misfits, Lee Newton, Taylor Tuttle, and more. The showtimes for the various artists are: Saturday – Lowdown Revival 12:30 p.m., BBQ Judging 3:00 p.m., FracXured 4:00 p.m., Taylor Tuttle 5:15 p.m., Biggins Moonshine Comedy 6:30 p.m., North American Misfits 7:30 p.m. and Confederate Railroad 9:00 p.m.
Shannon Steele Pyatt of Kickin’ Kountry 101 will be emcee for the event.
Event organizers say visitors will “savor mouthwatering barbecue, groove to the beats of talented musicians, and get to meet your favorite moonshiner. This event is a must-attend for all food, music, and spirit enthusiasts.”
The Barbeque Competition is as follows: three divisions of cooking will be judged on Pork BBQ, Chicken, Pork Ribs. Cooks can enter for $50 per entry or $100 for all 3 events with 2 passes, or a 3-man team for $135. All meat must be in original package for inspection. The judging will be held on Saturday at 3 p.m. Trophies and cash prizes will be awarded. Cooking may begin at midnight on Friday, Sept. 27.
Hosting will be done by John “John Boy” Caddell, cast member of television’s “Moonshiners Smoke Ring” and cast member of Netflix’s “BBQ Showdown” Season 2. Caddell has also appeared in Walmart commercials.
Comedic relief will be offered by “Biggins Moonshiner.”
Camping trailer spots will be available for primitive camping. Low decimal generators will be allowed, two-night minimum.
Other accomodations are Miss Kitty’s in Love Valley (mention BMM Festival for discount), Quality Inn in Wilkesboro (mention BMM Festival for discount), or Red Roof Inn and Hampton Inn in Wilkesboro.
Ticket can be purchased in advance at Misfit Corral in Love Valley, online, or at the gate. Children under age 8 enter free. Advance tickets are: Friday, $35; Saturday, $45; two day, $70. At the gate: Friday, $45; Saturday, $55.
Inside vendor slots (10×10’) will be $100/slot plus one extra pass (two, a $140 value). Vendors may start setting up at noon on Friday. Food vendor slots are $200. Vendors should contact before paying online, call 704-592-1999 or 336-927-5724 or email at [email protected].
