Barbara Ann “Beadie” Lackey

Barbara Ann “Beadie” Lackey, 73, of Hiddenite, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 17, 2024.

She was born March 25, 1951, in Amonate, Virginia, to the late Dewey Spears and Effie Parks Puckett. She was a business owner for 10 years, operating a cleaning service.

Barbara leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 57 years, Henry Lackey; daughters, Judy Keffer and Heather Torrence; and siblings, Judy Smith and Neal Spears.

A private gathering will be held in her memory.
