Daniel Eugene Head

Daniel Eugene Head, affectionately known as Danny, 65, was born on Monday, October 5, 1959, in Alexander County. Danny passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, surrounded by those he loved.

Danny was a member of Society Baptist Church and had been a truck driver for over 40 years.

He is survived by his son, Matthew Head; his father, Kenneth Eugene Head; mother, Jerrie Sears Head; and his siblings, Dale Head, Becky Rogers, David Head, Elizabeth Rogers, and Daryl Head.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Alexander Funeral Service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Inurnment will be with the family.
