Schools announce updated school calendar
Alexander County Schools administrators on Feb. 6 announced an updated school calendar, following the recent weather-related closures and delays, as shown below:
* Monday, February 2 – Optional Remote Workday – Buildings Closed
Change(s): February 13 (ACS) Regular student day. February 13 Alexander Early College (AEC) Regular student day.
* Tuesday, February 3 – Optional Teacher Workday – Buildings Open
Change(s): March 20 (ACS) Regular student day. February 27 (AEC) Regular student day.
* Wednesday, February 4 – Two-Hour Delay
Change: May 22 (ACS) Full day for students instead of Early Release
* Thursday, February 5 – Annual Leave Day
Change(s): April 10 (ACS) Regular student day. March 27 (AEC) Regular student day.
