Sheriff’s Office makes drug trafficking arrests

The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Raymond Curtis Lomax, W/M, age 42, and Adrianna Lynn Lazo, W/F, age 24, both of Honaker, Virginia, following a traffic stop, according to Sheriff Chad Pennell. Deputies seized 72 grams of Methamphetamine.

Lomax and Lazo has been charged with the following:

• Two counts of Trafficking Methamphetamine
• One count of Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, and Deliver Methamphetamine
• One count of Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling for a Controlled Substance
• One count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Lomax and Lazo are currently being held at the Alexander County Detention Center under a $200,000 secured bond.

They both had a first court appearance on March 16, 2026, in Alexander County District Court.
