Idalia Francisca Argueta De Cortez
Idalia Francisca Argueta De Cortez, 63, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026, at Catawba Valley Medical Center in Catawba County. She was born to the late Rosendo Hernandez and Virginia Soledad Argueta on April 12, 1962, in El Salvador.
Idalia was a nurse and a member of Iglesia Casa de Oracion.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Manuel De Jesus Cortez, and her children, Victor Manuel Cortez and Ana Maria Cortez.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Friday, July 3, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Iglesia Casa de Oracion, 179 S Shady Rest Rd, Statesville, NC 28677. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the same location. A burial will follow. Pastor Paulino Flores will officiate.
