Cynthia Thigpen

Cynthia Thigpen, 57, of Vale, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026, at Caldwell Memorial Hospital.

Cynthia was born February 20, 1969, the daughter of Brenda Lail Swain and the late Robert Floyd Swain. Cynthia was a former taxi driver for Yellow Cab in Hickory and was of the Baptist faith.

Family members left to cherish and honor Cynthia’s memories include her daughter, Tiffany Clark of Vale; her son, Bradley Thigpen of Hiddenite; her sister, Tina Carter of Taylorsville; and her brother, Robbie Swain of Vale.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 15, 2026, in the Adams Funeral Home Chapel.
