Schools on 2-hour delay Dec. 9
Alexander County Schools will be on a 2-hour delay on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025, due to wet roads and expected sub-freezing temperatures across the county, according to a school press release. Before and After-School Care will also operate on a 2-hour delay.
