Storms cause school delay at Sugar Loaf Elem.
Sugar Loaf School on two hour delay May 5 Alexander County Schools officials have confirmed that due to overnight storms, power outages, and trees down on roads in the area, Sugar Loaf Elementary School is on a two-hour delay. The facility will open at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 5, 2017.
