Gussie Franklin Bolick

Gussie Franklin Bolick, 79, of Jay Stafford Lane, Taylorsville, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016, at Brian Center, in Viewmont.

Mrs. Bolick was born June 17, 1937, in Catawba County, daughter of the late Frank Edward Franklin and Flossie Lingerfeldt Franklin.

She had worked as a nurse’s aide and was a member of Millersville Baptist Church. She enjoyed her flower garden and taking care of it.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Bolick; two brothers, Coy Franklin and Noah Franklin; and three sisters, Kitty Franklin, Rosa Faulkner, and Faye Probst.

Those left to cherish her memory include four brothers, Kent Franklin, David Franklin, Lloyd Franklin, and Benny Franklin.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, October 27, 2016, at Forest Lawn of Lincolnton. Chaplain Kim Dowell of Catawba Regional Hospice will officiate.
