Carrie Renea Shields Howell, 33, of Taylorsville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 18, 2018.
She was born to Jimmy Wesley and Barbara Ann Little Shields on April 2, 1985 in Catawba County.
Carrie enjoyed photography, painting, and scrapbooking. She loved her family and was always serving others in any way she could.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Ralph Jr. Little.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of nine years, Adam Chad Howell; son, Haden Howell; daughter, Ayva Howell; father, Jimmy Shields; mother, Barbara Shields; a sister, Tina Dawn Pearson of Hickory; nieces, Kayla Bullis and Lillian Pearson; nephew, Joseph Pearson; and grandparents, Jo-Anne Little, and James and Mary Shields.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Alexander Funeral Service from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 25, 2018 at Alexander Funeral Service Chapel, at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Jonathon Rodney Pearson officiating. Burial will take place at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
