Richard Blake Childers

Richard Blake Childers, 72, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024, at the Gordon Hospice House in Iredell.

Born on Friday, October 3, 1952, in Alexander County, Richard was a truck driver.

Survivors include his son, Jason Blake Childers; his sister, Gladys Minton; and brothers, Waitsell Dean Childers and Gene Childers.

Visitation for Richard will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m., both taking place at Alexander Funeral Service in Taylorsville. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Sam Villini will officiate.
