Jeffrey Adams

Jeffrey Adams, 64, of Hiddenite, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at his home.

Jeffrey was born September 12, 1960, in Iredell County, the son of Geraldine Pharr Adams and the late Walter Jackson Adams.

Jeffrey worked at Vesco for 20 years as a mechanic for most of his career. He was a man who was dedicated to his job and family.

In addition to his mother, those left to cherish and honor Jeffrey’s memories include the love of his life for 45 years, Myra Bowman; his sisters, Sherry Meadows (Terry) of Taylorsville, and Donna Smith of Stony Point; his brother, Danny Adams (Teresa) of Stony Point; his nieces, Tia Andras, Tasha Price, Kellie Haithcox, and Julie Adams; his nephews, Jackson Smith, Gunner Smith, and Cooper Smith; and a number of great-nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m., Monday, May 12, 2025, at Adams Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. in the Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Mark Reavill will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Iredell County.

Pallbearers include: Robert McLain, Bobby McLain, Jackson Smith, Gunner Smith, Cooper Smith, Monte Rogers, Scott Mecimore, and Ethan Rogers.
