Allen Lynn Bowman

Allen Lynn Bowman, 92, affectionately known as Lynn, was born to the late Lorenzo L. Bowman and Lillian Blanche Johnson Bowman on December 4, 1932, and left this world on July 31, 2025.

Lynn dedicated over 31 years to the art of woodcarving at Sipes Carving and spent 40 years in the furniture business. He was an active member of the Freedom Independent Baptist Church in Granite Falls.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Naomi Bowman; his sons, Steven Bowman and Timmie Bowman; and his brother, Bruce Bowman.

A visitation will be held in honor of Lynn on August 6, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m., both taking place at Freedom Independent Baptist Church, 2224 Satterwhite Circle, Granite Falls, NC 28630. Pastor Jobie Borders will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mt. Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will accept flowers.
