Wilbur Lex Tyndall

Wilbur Lex Tyndall, 67, passed away peacefully at his home in Alexander County on July 20, 2026. He was born to the late Ed Tyndall and Ollie Pate Tyndall on January 31, 1959, in Jacksonville, Florida.

Wilbur dedicated much of his working life as a foreman at Asplundh Tree Service.

Survivors include his children, Johnson Cone, Tammy Cone, Lee Pridgen, Pricilla Thomas, and Zubrina Aaron; and a brother, David Tyndall.

A Visitation and Celebration of Life will be held at the same time, providing an opportunity to share memories, offer condolences, and celebrate a cherished life together on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Service, 193 NC-16, Taylorsville, NC 28681. Family, friends, and all whose lives Wilbur touched are invited to gather in remembrance and gratitude for his life. Inurnment will be with the family.
