Ethel Marie Richey Teague, 94, passed away peacefully at her home in Alexander County on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.
She was born on Thursday, December 25, 1930, in Alexander County, to the late Plumer L. and Ida Yount Richey. For over 70 years, Ethel worked diligently as a sewer in the furniture industry.
Survivors include her children, Roger Teague, Michael Teague, Deborah Moretz, and Patty Spencer.
A family-led visitation will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Fellowship Advent Christian Church, located at 885 Icard Ridge Road, Taylorsville, NC 28681. Inurnment will be with the family.
The family has requested no flowers.
