Larry Sherman Moretz
Larry Sherman Moretz, 74, passed away on February 8, 2026, at Carolina Caring in Catawba County. He was born on August 28, 1951, in Alexander County, to the late Howard Webster Moretz and Frances Hill Moretz. He was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 20 years, Diane Moretz, and his children, ReDina Moretz, Sherman Moretz, and Jamie McSwain.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Service, located at 193 NC-16, Taylorsville, NC 28681. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Carolina Caring Hospice House, 3975 Robinson Rd, Newton, NC 28658.
