Daryl Wayne Cobb

Daryl Wayne Cobb, 67, born to the late Ben Harrison Cobb, Jr. (Jane) and Evelyn May Amerine (John) on June 6, 1959, in Chico, California, passed away at his home in Alexander County on June 27, 2026.

Before retirement, Daryl worked as a lead mixing operator at Shurtape.

Survivors include his daughters, Dena Griffin and Andrea Romero; his sisters, Beth Allman and Susie Edgar.

Friends and family are invited to honor Daryl’s life at a visitation to be held on Friday, July 3, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Service. The family will be holding a private ceremony in Yellowstone National Park at a later date.
