Joann Testerman
Joann Testerman, 65, of Newton, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2024, at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born February 7, 1959, in Charlottesville, Virginia, she was the daughter of late David Nichols and Sadie Green.
Joann graduated from the University of Virginia and was a Registered Nurse for 34 years. Joann was also a member of Discovery Church in Hickory.
Joann is survived by her husband of 19 years, Steve Testerman; her children, Christopher Jamerson and wife, Stephanie; Tina Simmers and husband Robert; Terri Testerman, Jeremy Testerman, and John Testerman; her mother, Sadie Green; sister, Faye Green and husband, Andy; one niece and one nephew; thirteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
The family will be holding a memorial service at a later date.
