Julie Smith Swayngim

Julie Smith Swayngim, 55, of Conover, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026, at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Julie was born August 26, 1970, in Mecklenburg County, the daughter of Brenda Dianne Herrin Smith and the late Larry Smith. Julie was of the Christian faith.

In addition to her mother, those left to cherish and honor her memories include her daughters, Brooke Swayngim, Madison Swayngim, and Mikenzie Salazar, all of Alexander County.

The family will have a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
