Jerrie Lucille Sears Head, 86, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Taylorsville House in Alexander County.
Born to the late William “Bill” Daniel Sears, Jr. and Lunda Luvinna Gryder Sears on January 9, 1940, in Alexander County, Jerrie worked in the furniture industry, lawn care, and as a caregiver. She was a member of East Taylorsville Baptist Church.
Jerrie’s legacy lives on through her children, Dale Head, Becky Rogers, David Head, Elizabeth Rogers, and Daryl Head, and her sister, Janice Jolly.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at East Taylorsville Baptist Church from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The funeral service will be on Friday, May 8, 2026, at East Taylorsville Baptist Church at 4:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Taylorsville City Cemetery. Rev Kevin White and Rev. Mark Marshall will officiate.
