Jerry N. Bebber

Jerry N. Bebber, 79, of Taylorsville, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at his home surrounded by family.

Jerry was born March 16, 1947, in Cabarrus County, the son of the late Ned Wilson Bebber and Annie Belle Barnette Bebber.

Jerry proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He was a mechanic for his entire working career and was of the Christian faith. He loved anything to do with the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting.

Including his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, William G. Gaughan.

Family members left to cherish and honor his memories include his loving wife, Mary Hires Bebber of the home; his loving daughters, Robin Kester of Gaston Co., Barbara Noblitt of Stanley Co., Lori Barber (Odell) of Rowan Co., and Brenda Lorentz of Gaston Co. He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Jeremy Noblitt, Crystal Horton, and Mark Goff; his great-grandchildren, Jay Edwards, Xan Sarrat, Dominick Goff, Amelia Goff, and Marla Goff; and his great-great-grandchild, Lyrig Edwards. He is also survived by his sisters, Marcia Wilhelm, Wanda Aistrop, and Libby Bebber, all of Rowan Co.; his brother, Bobby Bebber, Sr. of Cabarrus Co.; and a number of other family members.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m., Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Adams Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 3 p.m. in the Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Brandon Cassell will officiate. Burial will follow in the Three Forks Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors.
