Paul Junior Cline

Paul Junior Cline, 73, of the Wittenburg Community, went to his heavenly home on Friday, July 24, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born on September 30, 1952, in Catawba County, the son of the late Paul Eugene Cline and Hettie Ellen Pope Cline.

Paul attended Christian Fellowship Church. He worked many years in the furniture industry as a trimmer. He also did small engine repair, lawn care, and landscaping. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening.

Including his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Daisy Lewis Cline; siblings, Mary Jolly, Nancy Fox, Kathleen Jolly, Dorothy Bowman, Nora Dyson, and Ken Cline; nephew, Danny Jolly, who was like a brother; father and mother-in-law, Kelly and Rachel Goble; and his fur baby, Bootsie.

Those left to cherish and honor Paul’s memories include his wife of 53 years, Kathy Goble Cline; his son, Scott Cline (Lisa) of Granite Quarry; his daughter, Krystle Cline of Taylorsville; his grandson, Augustus Cline; his fur baby, Gizmo; his sisters-in-law, Faye Johnson (Dale), and Sue Webster (Kenneth); and a number of other relatives and special friends.

The funeral service will be held at 4 p.m., Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at Christian Fellowship Church. Pastor Scott Greene and Rev. Tim Shook will officiate. Burial will follow in the Christian Fellowship Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
