James Wray Cale

James Wray Cale, 82, of Supply, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center, Wilmington.

Born in Albright, West Virginia, on the fourth of February 1936, James was the son of the late Harve Sheridan and Sarah Elizabeth Golden Cale.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Lynn Warren, and a brother, Dale Hasson.

Surviving are his loving wife of almost 34 years, Judy Moree Cale of Supply; sons, Edward Wray Cale and wife Debbie of Taylorsville, Harve Stephen Cale of Oregon, James Joshua Cale and wife Cindy of Connelly Springs, Claude Jason Cale and wife Jessica of Taylorsville, and Mark Baity and wife Angela of Hiddenite; daughters, Rhonda Cale MadKlure of Hickory, and Amy Moree Watson and husband David of Wilkesboro; a sister, Mary Meltful of Maryland; a brother, Frank Hasson of Clearwater, Florida; 15 grandchildren, Sarah Probst, Jessica Cale, Cyle Cale, Abby Cale, Christopher Cale, Lindsey and Anthony Coleman, Joshua and Seth Cale, and Matthew Cale; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at three o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday, the thirtieth of December 2018 in the White Funeral & Cremation Service Chapel, 603 Ocean Highway East, Bolivia. You are cordially invited to a time of visitation with the family for one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home. Burial services will be conducted at one o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, the third of January 2019 in the Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, with military honors.
