Gary “Tootie” Schroeder

Gary “Tootie” Schroeder, age 58, of Hickory, passed away on July 17, 2021, at Carolina Caring Hospice.

Gary was born September 8, 1962, in Owatonna, Minnesota, the son of the late Leroy R. Schroeder and Evelyn Faye Schuler Schroeder.

He was a machine operator for Shurtape. Including his parents, he was preceded in death by: brothers, Larry and Bill Schroeder.
Those left to cherish and honor his memory include: his wife, Sue Cole of Hickory; sisters, Debbie Jassup and husband, Glenn Sr., of Mt. View, Cindy Roberts Schroeder of Hickory, Patty and Tommy Scott, of Hickory.

The family will conduct a celebration of life service at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Highway and Hedges Ministry, 3675 Herman Sipe Road, Conover, NC 28613
