Betty Jean Linney Bennett

Betty Jean Linney Bennett, 91, passed away Monday, November 14, 2022, at Autumn Care in Iredell County.

Ms. Bennett was born to the late Roger Linney and Leathia Jones Linney on January 25, 1931, in Alexander County. Betty had worked for Alexander Hospice as a CNA. She was a member of Smith Grove Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish the memories of Betty include niece and caregiver, Bobbyetta Sharpe.

A visitation will be held Monday, November 21, 2022, at Alexander Funeral Service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will be Monday, November 21, 2022, in the Alexander Funeral Service Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Third Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. William Little will officiate.
