A Severe Thunderstorm Warning continues to 5:15 p.m. for Alexander County, Hickory, Lenoir, and western Iredell County until 5:15 PM EDT, Monday, August 7, 2023. This storm will contain wind gusts to 70 MPH, according to the National Weather Service.
